RM of Wreford’s story
The Rural Municipality of Wreford No. 280 was incorporated as a rural municipality on December 12, 1910. It lies in the south-central part of Saskatchewan, north of Regina, and covers roughly 800 square kilometres.
The town of Nokomis is surrounded by the RM, and the municipal office is located there. The RM also takes in the unincorporated localities of Ambassador, Hatfield, Undora and Venn.
Today the RM is run by an elected council and an appointed administrator, who meet on the second Tuesday of every month.
